The Photomosaic showcases more than 1000 unique tiles and 3504 overall images in rich color and black-and-white. All the images that make up the final piece come from Jay Blakesberg’s photo archive that he created during his travels following the Dead in the late 1970s as a teenage deadhead, to his intimate portraits in the Dead’s later career.
