FAQs

What is Mosaic Legends?

Mosaic Legends today enables brands, celebrities, musicians, photographers, institutions and others to utilize their multimedia assets in the mobile or large art prints/advertising worlds. Whether it's an interactive mobile App, web mosaic viewer or a Photomosaic® that covers the side of a building, Mosaic Legends works with partners to deliver the image as the message, and all the data surrounding it.

Our projects range from celebrity pieces, rock band Apps and photographer e-books to museum learning, supporting Olympic sporting events and more. No matter the project, there's an interactive Photomosaic in your future that will engage your audience from print, to web to mobile.

What Sets Mosaic Legends Apart From Other Digital Media Companies?

Mosaic Legends has the patent rights that no other media company has. While all others compete on the same level, Mosaic Legends has taken proprietary and protectable technology and propelled it into the web and mobile worlds, introducing the most fascinating interactive branding programs ever created.

What is the turnaround time for an application?

We have two App platforms that streamline the process. Once the partner has provided the images, our team moves quickly, working closely with the partner to deliver and revise the mock-up and provide samples, all within about 10 days.  Depending on how many rounds of revisions are needed, the final version is then sent along to Apple, with a typical turnaround of two days to two weeks for approval.

In addition to the application, what other ways can the Photomosaic be used?

We work with each partner to determine the best utilizations of the Photomosaic depending on needs and goals.  Some examples of what we can produce include: posters, small, medium and large prints, fine art, photographics, Giclee prints, side of a building, car or motorcycle wrap, permanent art installation, multimedia interactive wall display, mobile Apps, web site interactive viewer, T-shirts, album covers and more.

How is the Photomosaic put together?

Images need to be edited to be all the exact same aspect ratio. The target image needs to be specifically chosen so that the number of tiles supplied and the color gamut in those tiles will be sufficient to make a perfect Photomosaic.

You have made your mark in music, what other areas are you working in?

We think there are many opportunities in the areas of art/photography, celebrities, sports, education/museums, events (e.g. Olympics, Super Bowl, etc.), advertising, sponsorships, Broadway shows, movies and TV shows.  We have just really scratched the surface of what can be done, and we are open to creative proposals in other areas.
